Module 0 : Overview of the PgMP® certification

This module provides an overview of the PgMP® exam process, of the potential audits and assessments performed by PMI, and about the exam itself. Also this course provides a list of the artifacts to be produced at each step of the process.

 

Module 1 : General Introduction of the online course.

 

Module 2 : Program Management Fundamentals.

The goal of this module is to answer the following questions: What is a program, and what is program management?

It also highlights the major differences between program management and project management, and between program management and portfolio management.
Interactions between them and the notion of business value are then introduced.

 

Module 3 :  The Standard for Program Management – Third Edition.

This module provides an overview of the Program Management Standard - Third Edition, issued by PMI.
After defining the program manager's role, it details the 5 performance domains of program management, and explains their relationships with the supporting processes and the artifacts.

Module 4 : Examination Content Outline.

This module shows a description of the five performance domains which represent the current good practices in program management.
For each domain, the ECO provides an exhaustive list of tasks which represent essential aspects of the program manager's duties.
This module also presents a list of program management artifacts, and gives clues and tips in order to be ready for the exam.

Module  5 : Program Life Cycle.

This module provides detailed information about
Domain II - the Program Life Cycle (PLC):
Definition, decomposition into phases, relationships with other domains, and related key artifacts

Module 6 : Supporting processes.

This presentation introduces the Life Cycle supporting processes of chapter 8 of the Standard

Module 7 : Strategy alignment.

This module provides information related to chapter 3 of the standard

 

Module 8 :  Benefits management.

This module provides information related to chapter 4 of the

Standard

 

Module 9 : Stakeholders Engagement.

This module is related to chapter 5 of the standard:
Identify stakeholders and their engagement at program level, manage their expectations, and keep stakeholders engaged!

Module  10 : Governance.

This module is related to chapter 6 of the Standard and provides detailed explanations about:
Governance, Governance board, Governance roles and responsibilities,

 

Module 11 : Initiating vs. ECO.

This module is the first one of a series of modules relating the ECO with  the activities which must be performed during the Program Life Cycle (PLC), in order to be successful. This module describes the supporting processes or activities related to ‘initiating the program’, in relationship with the tasks listed in the ECO, and with the PLC phases

 

Module 12 : Planning vs. ECO.

This module describes the supporting processes or activities related to ‘planning the program’, in relationship with the tasks listed in the ECO, and with the PLC phases

 

Module 13 : Executing vs. ECO.

This module describes the supporting processes or activities related to 'executing the program", in relationship with the tasks listed in the EXO, and with the PLC phases.

 

Module 14 : Controlling vs. ECO.

This module describes the supporting processes or activities related to ’controlling the program’, in relationship with the tasks listed in the ECO, and with the PLC phases

 

Module 15 : Closing vs. ECO.

This module describes the supporting processes or activities related to ’closing the program’, in relationship with the tasks listed in the ECO, and with the PLC phases.

 

Module 16 : ECO Tasks vs. SPM Activities.

 

Module 17 : Memory Jogger. 

This module is a recap of all management plans, plans, formulae, definitions, common mistakes, and important documents.

 

Module 18 : ECO explained in charts Part 2. 

This module is our interpretation to link ECO with the Standard. It gives explanatory charts to deeply understand what the exam is all about

 

Module 19 : Case Study - 18 Holes.

Welcome to our case study about leading a golf estate program. It contains 18 episodes (or holes) which detail all important phases of a program.
